In the electronic components area, and as part of our diversification program, Grupo Condumex began manufacturing telephone sets and accessories since 1996. This activity has been performed with support from the Condumex Research and Development Center (CIDEC,  Centro de Investigacion y Desarrollo Condumex), which has the latest technology in electronics and product design.

In the electronic manufacturing area, Grupo Condumex has sold caller ID systems to Telefonos de Mexico, instrument panels to General Motors, and alarms for vehicles to the automotive sector.

Combined to the above, the Electronics sector of Grupo Condumex has been strengthened with the integration of products and services, such as automation systems, systems for intelligent buildings, LAN networks, structured cabling systems, PBX applications and call centers.

In the Electronics sector, we also offer cable network installation services  for cable television systems, and installation of wireless devices for telecommunications, oriented to point–multipoint links to take a maximum advantage of the existing bandwidth using the Local Multipoint Distribution System (LMDS) technology, which is the latest technology for this type of last mile solutions.
